Do Iphone Apps Make Money

A common question many people ask us is - Do iPhone Apps make money. To answer this question, I did some googling:

ishoot - artilley game on iPhone - $800,000 in 5 months
Trism - simple game on iphone - $250,000 in 2 months
Koi Pond - game on iphone - $623,000 from 900,000 downloads

MLB App - $1 million - http://www.edibleapple.com/mlb-iphone-app-nears-1-million-in-revenue/
Enigmo - $1.5 million in 8 months - http://www.edibleapple.com/enigmo-developer-nets-2-million-in-sales-will-focus-exclusively-on-iphone-development/

According to Flurry, iPhone applications can and do make money. Not all apps make it, of course, but those that do can actually make good money. A strong publisher with two titles a month can expect $10 million to $15 million in sales through the iPhone channel, if the titles are well-marketed, says the report.
